2 Week Workout Plan Everyone Can Do

We have 2 weeks until the New Year is upon us. Most of these two weeks will be filled with food, family, parties, Christmas lights, and sweets, so many sweets. The mindset of many is just to wait until Jan 1, to set a goal and tackle it after the holidays are over. But why wait? Why let the sweets and treats and holiday party food build up in your system and around your waist line?  Why not start now with a plan to help off set the holiday cheer and put yourself in an even better position come Jan…

Rustic Wedding, Arizona in May

My dad recently got remarried and enlisted me to help plan/decorate/coordinate the big day. It was both their second marriages so they decided to keep it casual and super personal. They both love hunting, dancing, and being outdoors. So they kept the cost low by having it in their backyard and building their own dance floor, having friends help with food, and having a very DIY approach to decorating. Invitations  They loved the idea of two deer, to represent them, on the invites. So after some google searching and some sweet Word skills, I managed to get these…

Stitch Fix Review #1-Fall Box

I have a love hate relationship with shopping. Some days I find great finds, everything fits, and I love it. Other days, I try on a million things, nothing fits and everything I like cost a lot of money. While I am trying to adjust to a more “adult” wardrobe of quality items, I still have a hard time swallowing $50 for a top. Or as things seem to go more… I mean $70 for a top? Ok crazy, that’s what a month worth of diapers and wipes cost for my littlest baby. We have…

The best part of doing a fitness challenge is the sense of accomplishment when you are done, can look in the mirror and see the kick ass results. Even better? Setting a SMART  Goal and tracking your progress is needed to keep the motivation and to truly show your improvements. So lets get to it, below we will discuss and share links and pictures for…

7 Habits of Highly Effective People

If you haven’t read the book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People yet, do. Fast. Go grab your copy from amazon here.  Then settle in, open your mind, and bust out a highlighter.. well only if you are as crazy as me. *I am an amazon affiliate, so I may make a commission if you purchase something but it will not effect you in anyway, nor does it effect my views and reviews* Naturally I am a planner and naturally organized person, so I really loved this book.  But the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People put a new…

Construction Birthday Party- 2 year old

For those that know my little man, they know that he LOVES tools. That’s an understatement. He is OBSESSED with tools. He wakes up talking about them, takes them to daycare, can say pliers, pipe wrench and hammer. So the choice to throw him a Construction Birthday Party for this second birthday was a no brainer. After perusing Pinterest I compiled my favorite ideas and this is what I came up with.    Invitations   I put these together on Word, printed them at Kinkos, and mailed them or handed them out. Very basic and easy!                                Decorations   Keeping…

Healthy Customizable Meal Plan

**Photo credits linked to blogs the recipe is from, sites at bottom and on word doc** I have been helping a friend create healthy meal plans for her family. After her raving about the plan I decided to make the meal plan useable for everyone and share here with you all! The premise of this list is that it has the meal plan with some notes of variations I took from the recipes so you can follow along. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are all included. Best part? The shopping list notes what “meal” they apply to so…

Saturday morning pancakes

Enjoying a Saturday morning breakfast with my family is important to me and has been a tradition in my family. Pancake breakfast is my go to, with the added bonus of freezing some for the week.  Plus my little ones loves to help! We use the ihop secret pancake recipe and usually make our own buttermilk for it. I double the recipe and freeze the extras for a quick breakfast or snack throughout the week. To freeze just put on a baking sheet that will fit in your freezer and put the pancakes on the sheet, not touching, and layer…

Lifting the fog, Hypothyroidism and you

Gluten intolerance, fibromyalgia, Hashimoto, PCO…. these are all terms that are common terms that most of us recognize and have a vague idea on what they pertain too. 5 years ago, we wouldn’t have said the same. I don’t know about all of you, but I feel the research and focus on diseases and afflictions that used to be brushed off and misdiagnosed has increase 10 fold. While most still battle the healthcare system to get correct diagnosis with these types of afflictions, they are becoming relevant enough that doctors aren’t looking…
